The band has recently finished recording 4 new songs for a new CD, entitled "Letting Go", and have put the final touches on the mix from their studio. This new project will also include various requested songs from the first two CDs. If you are interested in a copy of Letting Go, just let us know.

Music of the Son had a wonderful time as one of several bands performing at the Palace Theatre in Crossville on Friday, April 27. Christy Fisher (Youth Pastor) and Pastor Lisa D. from Free to Worship Revival Center (click here to link to their website) have asked the band to perform at a youth event they are planning in Soddy Daisy, called "Youth Xplosion 2012". The event is a 4-day happening, which starts on Wednesday, May 23, and continuing until Saturday, May 26, when Music of the Son will be performing at 4 p.m. Here is a copy of the flyer. Pastor Buzz Trexler, of Green Meadow United Methodist Church in Alcoa, TN, has once again asked MOTS to join them at an outdoor event at their church on Sunday afternoon, June 3rd. We always have a wonderful time of fellowship at Buzz's church, and hope everyone can come out and join in the praise and worship!
